They say ‘the proof is in the pudding’, and yet we know it’s all truly in the scent. After Six was born from the desire to present a gift to yourself or someone you love after a long day. From the initial unboxing to the first lighting of the wick, these candles make every little act of self-care a momentous joy.

Challenge

We knew the goal was to create a gifting candle that would melt with meaning. The challenge was building a brand unique enough to reflect the sentimental and personal touches to every candle. Every element, from naming the brand to packaging and direct creative content, needed to be considered to bring to life the allure of candles designed to be gifted.

Approach

The naming of the brand was just as important as all the elements that came to follow. Our approach was focused on the importance of receiving the gift. So, we created a brand name that was a moment in time itself, After Six. The perfect hour to unwind and give back to yourself with a luxurious sensory experience. 

The actual unboxing of the gift needed to be as dramatic a moment as the experience of smelling the candle. We designed simple yet elegant packaging that was the perfect size for a standalone gift and would allow the product to shine. Intricate details lined every part of the box as reminders of the gifting, which would elevate and enhance the process of unwrapping.
